In the early 1960s, Hulon Smith started a plumbing company to service the needs of Spartanburg, SC. Then, in the 90s, ownership transferred to Connie Smith, who began offering plumbing work for new construction as well as growing the service plumbing business. Today, the entire team has expanded, creating a more diverse and ambitious group that serves the needs of upstate South Carolina and the foothills of North Carolina.
CB Smith Plumbing was founded with a mission to deliver high-quality, competitively priced plumbing services to our neighbors in Spartanburg, Greenville, and Cherokee Counties. Our company’s founder and namesake, Connie Smith, has become a staple of the community through her efforts to keep that founding mission a success. With Connie’s vision as our guide, we have helped generations of Spartanburg-area residents and business owners keep their properties running smoothly. With a catalog of services ranging from faucet repair to new house plumbing installation, there are few plumbing issues the team is not prepared to handle.

With over 100 years of combined plumbing experience and all the equipment needed to complete any plumbing job, we consistently provide stellar work to hundreds of customers every year. Annually, we complete over 200 residential remodel and new construction projects and close to 50 commercial plumbing construction projects.
